Frequently Asked Questions
Is TalkingBio FREE for jobseekers?
Yes, TalkingBio is FREE for candidates. Job seekers can complete a TalkingBio profile, use it when applying for job openings on TalkingBio.com and when applying for jobs on other websites.
Is TalkingBio FREE for employers?
Yes, TalkingBio is FREE for employers. Employers can post job openings and get relevant job applicants, browse their credentials and invite them to interviews at NO charge to employers.
What’s the difference between TalkingBio.com and all the other job search websites?
TalkingBio has three major differences:
1. Job seekers present themselves in the most complete and comprehensive way, which makes it easy for employers to identify potential candidates for job openings.
2. Our propitiatory system matches the qualifications of the job seekers with the job openings to increase the chance of presenting the most relevant jobs to candidates and the most relevant job seekers to employers.
3. Once a job seeker creates a TalkingBio profile, he/she can use his/her TalkingBio profile (and link) with all employment opportunities (even with opportunities that are not listed on TalkingBio.com)
What is the most important step necessary to receive job openings?
The most important step necessary to receive job openings is:
1. Log in to your account,
2. Go to Edit Profile,
3. Go to Job Search Criteria, AND
4. Add all the relevant Locations and Job Roles.
It should take you 3 minutes to complete that step. WITHOUT completing this step, you will NOT be able to receive job openings.
Why am I (job seeker) not receiving job openings?
Even if you don’t want to have a photo and a recorded 60 seconds audio bio, you should at least upload your resume and complete the “Job Search Criteria” section (see previous question). These 2 steps should take you 3 minutes total. Without a resume and a complete Job Search Criteria section, you will not be able to receive job openings.
Why am I (employer) not receiving profiles of candidates for my job opening?
Employers have to categorize their job offers accurately; otherwise you will not receive profiles from candidates. Even if you have a great description of your job opening, YOU MUST choose State, Area (within the state), and Job Role. Without categorizing ALL the elements of your job opening, our proprietary system will not be able to match you with job seekers.
